Keyword Research:

Keywords are what you type into search engines but the term keyword can be a single word it’s usually not though more often three, four, five words or even more it’s a big giant phrase that a person types into a search engine to find information services and products.

There are really two categories. The first category is short tail keywords and the other category is long tail keywords. short tail keywords are having one, two and maybe three words at most. Long tail keywords have a lot of words in them. So, they’re giant phrases. Many people focus on those long tail keywords first. Less competitive. High conversion rates. Sometimes they are very competitive because of the higher search volume.

Title Tags:

Each website page needs to use the title using keywords. In html before head (</head>) closing tag need to use the title(<title>) tag using keywords. The title should have 50-60 characters.  You need at least one keyword to use in the title.

Example: <title>Your title goes here…</title>

Meta Descriptions:

Each website page needs to use the meta description using keywords. In between head tag (<head </head> you need to use the meta description tag using keywords. The description should have 50-60 characters.  The title and the meta description tags should include keywords. Meta description is required between 150 & 160 characters, including spaces.

Header Tags:

The HTML <header> tag represents introductory content for its nearest ancestor sectioning content or sectioning root element. In html main header tags are<h1><h2><h3><h4><h5><h6>.

The <h1> to <h6> tags are used to define HTML headings. <h1> to <h6> font sizes are biggest to smallest. As per the SEO term gives priority to use <h1> and <h2> tag as much as possible. Don’t forget to use the main keywords in the heading. <h1> defines the most important heading and <h6> defines the least important heading.

Alt & Title Text:

The required alt attribute specifies an alternate text for an image, if the image cannot be displayed. The alt attribute provides alternative information for an image. Use the keywords in the alt and title text but keep in mind not to stuff the keywords.

Link TITLE attribute for usability – in most browsers it will pop up when you hover over the link.  It specifies the context in which the linked resource will open. It defines the title of a link, which appears to the user as a tooltip.

The Content:

Great content is the foundation of a successful website listing in the google search engine. Quality content is important for the webpage. But without SEO, your great content will not get the exposure it deserves.

Great content is all you need to get our site to an optimum SEO. Use the keywords in the website content. But keep in mind not to overdo the keywords in your webpage content. Most importantly don’t hide your keywords using black hat technique in your website. Search Engines won’t encourage the black hat techniques.

Image Optimization:

You must use the keywords in the image name. Also, you should compress the images to reduce the image size.

In the <img> tag you need to use the alt and title text using keywords.

Site Speed:

Google has indicated that site speed (and as a result, page speed) is one of the signals used by its algorithm to rank pages. As much as possible to increase the site speed. Compress the images and minify the javascript, CSS, html files.

Link Building:

Link building will increase the visibility of your website. If your website will get more visibility from the user, then it will get more and more traffic. For example, submit your articles and press releases in the good PA and DA website. Submit your blogs on guest blogging websites and submit your website on local directories.
